I've been taking painkillers for the last 3 nights to help me sleep. My shoulder is killing me. Tiredness caught up with me

Stripping, drying and rebuilding my laptop after the office chair collapsed and my coffee went all over the keyboard
Every cloud and all that, it's working now and I found a very 'Puffed' battery, they can fail in a spectacular and flamey fashion so it's running on the mains power lead for now.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Upgraded my internet!
The National Broadband Network has been rolled out across Aussie over the last few years and it’s finally made it to my in the sticks location.
I’ve got Fibre to the Curb, with copper to the house and here is the before and after.
Pretty happy with that!! I don’t get mobile reception up here so everything goes through the wifi. The old copper termination pits used to flood and after a good rain our speeds were 2-4 Mbps for a few days.

Yesterday rather than today but we did a bunch of filming and editing. You'll all see the finished result some time

I look forward to it.Cav wrote:Yesterday rather than today but we did a bunch of filming and editing. You'll all see the finished result some time
Doing nowt today....and frankly I'm more than just a touch bored. I've already looked for stuff to do around the house but it seems fairly ship-shape. It's too hot to go out, and I've already played enough guitar to make the neighbour's ears bleed.
I think I'm lacking motivation.

I'm back in the office for a couple of hours. It's really nice being back in here! No motivation issues at all being in here - just cracking on with it.

I'll need to go in next week. I've got to sign some court documents and post them out. A payment into court is one of the few processes a wet signature is needed.

I have a cross pen from my last employer (5 years service).. never used but the tab that enables you to clip it to something is wonkey.

I've got over 1200 pages of someone's DWP records to wade through. He's 28. Looks like he's had several jobs, none lasting longer than a week.
