Well at least I’ll lose some weight being here.
It pretty much is prison, just without the rape. There are armed police patrolling and if we step of our balconies without a mask on and socially distancing we are liable for a $5000 fine.

Its ridiculous imo. Things have been blown out of all proportion. Some people are genuinely terrified and they don't need to be with sensible precautions.
Instead of a targeted and risk assessed approach, they have waded in with heavy handed, blanket polices that are creating fear and crippling world economies, leaving many jobless and potentially homeless.
Governments should step in and explain the real risks and inform the people with factual and credible information. The media is spinning fear and terror and on the opposite side of the coin social media is a wash with conspiracy nonsense. Covid seems similar to world politics at the moment in there is an extreme left and an extreme right with no reasonable and intelligent middle ground.
People need to be better informed.

Yeah mate, we are able to do groceries click and collect orders. Can’t get perishables or anything that needs refrigeration as it can take up to two days to get them.
So I’ve got a few crisps, chocolate, fruit juices etc and the fruit we get for breakfast and lunch I save up and that covers me for dinner.
We get a little cake with dinner and so far that’s been quite edible so I’m not starving.
