Do not drink hand sanitizer!!
Seriously....that stuff will fcuk you up in a big way.
It's a different kind of alcohol, and it's very, very bad for you if you drink it.
I think it was in Texas a year or two ago....seven or eight prisoners got hold of some hand sanitizer & drank it.....three died, three were hospitalized in critical condition, and one was temporarily blinded.
* I checked Wiki....it was in New Mexico. Seven guys, and the last guy was blinded permanently, it seems.

Now the food here is limited so they allow you to do a supermarket click and collect, and they pick it up and bring it too you. Ordered Wednesday and just got it tonight, Friday.
My neighbour was clever and bought some bakers yeast. Between us we bought 12 L of fruit juice. A few raisins and sugar for nutrient and we’ve successfully cultured a yeast starter.
There is now 12 L of prison grapper bubbling away.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Doing all the work I did on Wednesday. A client has given us a new form to use, it lists the value of the claim, claim information, how we've arrived at our valuation and proposed timetable.
So I did the new forms for all the files we've got for this client.
My boss asked me to check the forms again because the first 3 she looked at were wrong.
Turns out that the paralegal deleted them all and replaced them this morning with his own versions, using information from the old forms. Because he's deleted them from our file management system they've gone for good (for security reasons anything deleted is automatically wiped, there's no copy or backup).

Re: What are you doing today ??
Hand sanitiser can be either isopropyl alcohol or ethanol alcohol. Ethanol is the alcohol compound in alcoholic drinks. The big difference in the ethanol in santiser is de-natured and will be unlikely to get you drunk before the other additives or denaturing compounds make you ill. Drinking either sanitiser alcohols will mess you up.D41 wrote:Do not drink hand sanitizer!!

A lot of the distillers in Aussie turned to making hand sanitiser at the start of the corona virus, so I had a first hand lesson on it from my distiller mate.

Just realised a flaw in my plan. This home brew being so crude will be high in inactivated yeast.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Watching some BSB...... I have to laugh (even though its not really funny) Whit has his big on visor on when interviewing the racers, all fine.
Then he put the mic under the visor so we can hear him, then thrusts the same mic under the riders nose so we can hear them.
So all the spit and crap that comes out while these guys are talking does not get all over the mic and contaminate everyone who speaks into it. !!
Ash tray and motorbike comes to mind!
