Re: What are you doing today ??
It's a day off today so I am recovering from yesterday's antics in a mobile greenhouse with no significant ventilation for 5 hours, the blowers were stuck on hot, there's usually a small fan which is barely better than nothing but on this vehicle it was missing...
Later I have to go and re-fit the standard indicators to the back of a friends Z900, and will probably fit the rizoma 3 in 1's to my SX, there's nothing wrong with the Oxford Nightriders but the Rizoma's are so much brighter.

Doing nothing today....well, nothing fun.
It's going to be in the mid-'90s for the next three or four days, and a friend is having some medical issues.....so I'm babysitting him, and worse yet his cat. And I don't particularly like cats. At least this one has some character as far as cats go, I suppose.

Re: What are you doing today ??
First day of freedom since I got home from work
So got a long over due haircut, birthday shopping for Byrons early birthday on the weekend (away for his actual birthday), picked up 2 cubic m of firewood, bit of grocery shopping and clothes shopping.
All this social isolation I’ve been doing has caused me to develop a complete aversion to being around other people. I was like ‘yay! I can go out’ then almost instantly, ‘but I don’t want to do out’

We had another big storm here just over an hour ago and a house on the next estate was hit by lightning. Flames up to the roofline and fire and ambulance services in attendance
Looks like the phone system has been knocked out in the area as we have lost ours.
Proper scary shit.

Feck me....it's 106 degrees in Buena Park right now....which I'm fairly sure is a new record.
Irregardlessness of whether it is or not, it is WAAY too hot in this m'fcuker.

I went to Florida as a kid and it was over 110 every day. My Dad was a sweaty mess but I was loving it.

I've got some pretty full on weeks until the date of my surgery. I remeasured 3 previous Engineers measurements of our calibration plant and found that our new rig doesn't fit. Now I'm designing changes to structural gantries, our rigs and I'm designing new conveyor systems. I also need to modify the proposed position of our calibration scales due to all of the aforementioned problems.

Finished my chainsawing up the tree. A good 2-3 cubic metre in all I reckon.
Now I need to split it... but I’ll give it summer to dry out first.
