I normally do too, but this tree has been dead for a while before it fell over and it’s hard as rock. Only getting about two tanks worth out of a chain sharpen.C00kiemonster wrote:I love chainsawing

Re: What are you doing today ??
Busy day today so I need to try and keep chilled.
Got some 3D Printed stuff coming this morning plus a huge order from RS Components. I get to build and trial my production rig. Fingers crossed I guessed it right.
I've then got to pack up for tomorrow's trackday and drive over to Bedford

Yeah I do, I thought I was pretty good at hand sharpening till I attacked this tree. After it going blunt after a dozen cuts when I was de-limbing it last break, I ordered an electric sharpener. Much quicker and definitely a better sharpen!!C00kiemonster wrote:kiwikrasher wrote:I normally do too, but this tree has been dead for a while before it fell over and it’s hard as rock. thats a tough tree. Do you sharpen them yourself? Saves me a fortune.

I was tempted to sleep on the bench... bloody hot in the car! I managed 3-4 terrible broken hours of sleep.
Incredible day on circuit, I'll post a full review one day soon. Got a few video clips to share.

Lying on the sunbed in the garden, looking at the sky, drinking a bottle of pinot grigio, playing the Rolling Stones 'love in vain' really loud and contemplating life

Spent today chasing an exemption from being held in Darwin and been allowed to home isolate.
I am pretty confident I’m eligible under compassionate reasons given I’m sole career for the kids when I’m home and consideration of the support I provide for Byron with his ASD therapies.
All his therapists and even his mum are or have written me letters for my application saying it will be detrimental to his well being and progressive if I was to be absent for longer periods.

While watching the storm out the window last night I noticed my neighbour in her conservatory. Thought nothing of it but for some reason I did a double take. Turns out my mind knows when there's a naked lady to look at.
