Took the Versys off the insurance. A little £75 refund as well. Bonus.
It might be a bit easier and a lot cheaper next year to get insurance with only 2 bikes and a much reduced annual mileage.

Was going to get out for a few hours today but turned into a bit of a lazy day with my dog beside me watching some youtube vids.

Been to Loomies. Jist taking a small break. Jeez these Dunlop Sportsmart mk3 are incredible. Loving this new tyre confidence inspiring, heat up very quickly and easily leaps and bounds better than the Bridgestone 016...I need a proper ride though!

Nice one Rossgo. I have the Sportsmart TT. Great tyre but mileage isn't good, although I expect the mk3 is better in this areaRossgo wrote:Been to Loomies. Jist taking a small break. Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Yea I was close of choosing that TT tyre as I have heard it's a good tyre but back of my head told me I wouldn't warm it up and I'll slip off etc. If they are step up from these sportsmart then jeez you must be having fun on them lol! How are you finding the TT tyres, liking them, or is there better out there? I know mileage isn't too important to you as I know when you go out you want the best experience etc. The sportsmart should give me more mileage but I chose this true mainly because of the better wet grip in those 'it better not' moments lolBlade wrote:Nice one Rossgo. Thoroughly enjoyed that ride
I was told to go home today from work as did everyone else due to 'out of our hands issues' so decided today is the day I'll get out for a good blat!!

I actually bought them for a 3 day Euro TD which fell through so been using them on the road.Rossgo wrote:Yea I was close of choosing that TT tyre as I have heard it's a good tyre but back of my head told me I wouldn't warm it up and I'll slip off etc. If they are step up from these sportsmart then jeez you must be having fun on them lol! I've done 900 mile on them and reckon they have 200 mile left in them if I run them completely down to legal limit.
Good tyre just wear to quick for the road but saying that I did original purchase them for track so can't really complain.
I liked the Bridgestone s21 I had one so thinking of trying the s22 next.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Booked the Triumph in for its service.
Rather than pick up the phone, i decided to ride over as the sun was shining and its forecast to piss it down tomorrow.
The Street has to be the best fun road bike out there. Every time i start following someone on a sportsbike and see them doubled up and looking decidely uncomfortable, i have a smile to myself.
On twisting roads i doubt there is a better bike out there to be on than the Triumph, regardless of cost.

Heard good things about those S21s so I recon the S22 could only be better. For road you do need that all round feel for all weathers really as we go through it all in 1 trip to Wales haha!
