How often.... do you check you chain
Kind of following Blades mileage thread I thought it was like a start of a series. So;
How often do you check and lube your chain?
I'll start it off (and set the bar pretty low)
My chain has been checked and lubed and adjusted twice.
Once at the 500 miles service (by the dealer)
Once at the 6000 miles service that happened at 9800 miles (by the dealer)

I clean and lube mine every couple of weeks but if not using it to commute then I'll do it after a good rideout then it'll be ready for the next one, with all the weekends I'm working that'll be about three times a year
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Cleaned, checked and adjusted every couple of weeks, but that's more for vanity as I spent loads on renthal sprockets and tsubaki chain and like to keep them looking like new

At least once a month..
Same reason as cavetroll, got a shiny gold renthal sprocket and gold DID chain. They look pants when they are dirty..

Check the tension and lube it every 300-500 miles.
Cleaned and inspected as and when needed but no more than 2000 miles.

Every time I ride it. Lube it every few weeks. A well adjusted and good condition chain makes the world of difference to your ride IMO.
