You do know it's impossible to own just one tarantula, don't you?
Look at pamphobeteus genus. Large, hairy, good eaters and usually colourful.

The P.platyomma is absolutely stunning thats one that you have I recognise it from your photos, I'll see if she goes through with the deal as she said it while pretty drunk, but if she does, as I'm sure it really will be only the 1, that looks like the one, I love p.metallica but not sure I want a pokie as a 1st (and only) spider given their reputation of being more aggressive than most

Ask them the question then, when can you use it as you are entitled to it.

All well and good but resources are their problem, not yours. I'd be inclined to keep asking as otherwise it will disappear. Then you are well and truly being shafted IMO.

The end of a few very enjoyable days with the Kwacky family visiting Mr and Mrs Cookiemonster in France. It's been fantastic to see them both and we've had to leave far too soon.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Getting myself ready to return to work tomorrow. I haven't officially been there since before Easter.
I'm intending on cycling in but I managed to bollix up my chain and mechs the other day so I might see if I can get it serviced today just to make sure it'll get me there without me having to wonder whether the next gear change will be its last!
Also got some jobs to sort out round here such as prepping and glossing in my bedroom and mowing the lawn (weather permitting) so that should keep me out of mischief for a bit.

Computer system down again so doing feck all, it's crazy that one little glitch at work can halt production so easily, when it's fixed which should be in the next hour there'll be a huge back log of work to rush through.
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Reading a very detailed report about scaffolding. I think I'll need a lot of coffee to get me through.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Have just returned Mini Gees oppo home, he's been staying with us for a few days whilst his Mother was dealing with her sick Mum and his Dad was stuck in endless work meetings in Liverpool, cost us a couple of quid in food, but having two boys in the house instead of one has been great - you don't see them unless it's a mealtime.
A pair of 11yr old boys seem a bit like wild animals, they hide away until they get hungry, then you see them briefly while they're eating, then they melt away into the house again. Funnily enough they smell like wild animals as well, so they got thrown in the shower last night under protest.
House is a bit quiet now though and mini gee is like a lost sheep...
