yes it has spread all over the world, but the rate of deaths and cases has had everything to do with who is in charge.D41 wrote:Who do you sack?? This has spread all over the world, without any consideration at all for "who's in charge."
yea but hes the funniest thing on youtube for decadesD41 wrote:By that logic the US should have way more deaths than it currently does.
It doesn't, there's no disputing that.
And we still have an idiot in charge...there's no disputing that, either.
Hugely different situations, as you say...and then there's questions about why the outcomes are different??
USA vs NZ = 1.7%D41 wrote:By that logic the US should have way more deaths than it currently does.

Los Angeles Country is averaging slightly more cases and nearly twice the deaths PER DAY than NZ has experienced through the whole crisis, so for just more than twice the population you are battling way above NZ's average. NZ has one active case in quarantine and no new cases for 15 days.D41 wrote:Los Angeles County alone has more than twice the population of New Zealand. The City Of Los Angeles itself would perhaps make a better comparison if you're going purely off numbers.. We both know that's not a particularly useful comparison.
The only comparison that's worthwhile...and this is just my opinion, is to compare numbers for any given area as they alter/shift one way or the other.
cause and effect it's pretty simpleD41 wrote:How the disease is affecting other countries doesn't make sense to me...it's not a parameter by which to judge anything.
The muppets in charge are so far out of their depth its frightening. They are clueless.D6Nutz wrote:Coming soon to a region near you, lockdown 2.0.
