Mrs Gee has a monthly pedicure from a visiting Podiatrist, she told me she had booked an appointment to have a layer of hard skin sorted on the soles of my feet. I'm not saying its gay or not, but I had an overwhelming desire to kick her in the face during the treatment. Whether that says something about me or pedicures I'll leave up to the membership.

Kiwikrasher - remember the two cows joke?
The American Corporation business model.
You have two cows, You sell one, and force the other to produce the milk of four cows. Later, you form a focus group to analyse why the cow has dropped dead.
I stopped laughing at that one, as I realised it was so tragically correct.

I'm must admit, the company I work for are rather sorted, being offshore in my Business Unit, everyone's pretty sharp as you can't just run down to a local company and get something machined up or even expect a next day delivery on parts and equipment. I've definitely had to change my concept of plant operations. There's a lot more planning ahead, and there is no real slackers out there, if you don't pull your weight you don't last long. The down side is it feels a lot more sterile compared to the refinery workforce.
But today I'm recovering from my swing offshore, coffee in hand, fire just lit, last MotoGP about to be played. Managed not to hear any results so should be able to fully enjoy it!
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

A tough day. After getting up about 10 I finally got my arse together and we went out about 1.
Off to the local monkey sanctuary for a few hours.
Then back to base, got changed then out for booze and food. 3 courses, beer wine and coffee.
Now slobbing out listening to led zep.

Today as I was sorting stuff for dinner, Mrs Gee came across a strange and unfamiliar spider in the house, I found an exact lookalike on line and guess what? We had a middle sized "teenage" False Widow spider sat looking at us, needless to say with an 11yr old about the house I squished it.
Unlike Kwacky my tolerance for poisonous nasties disappeared with my ex-wife, so am now on alert for any relatives it may have had lurking in the area. Unfortunately all our innocent pleasant fly eating resident arachnids may well be evicted in the next few days in the hunt for another malignant interloper.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Got a loads falsies living in my garage and just got a green light from the Mrs in that I'm allowed to add one "big and hairy" spider to my pet collection so time to do some research on which T I actually fancy (although she was pretty hammered when she said it as she had been trying to keep up drinking with me lol)
