Tax evasion is a real bug bear of mine. Both Labour and the Conservatives have failed to tackle it. We're missing billions each year and supplying free labour to these companies.

Ironically Amazon with their Prime service, delivering goods and streaming TV and films into lockdown homes are probably making more money from lockdown than they were before CV19.
We should start a campaign to force them to step up and do the right thing to support their customers.

I bet they could sort the whole cost of this by raiding the offshore companies and their wealth.
Reality will be big tax and NIC increases for you and me.
I suspect their may be a mansion tax included somewhere though.

I have to agree - especially NIC payments with an excuse of funding the NHS etc etc. Politically many cannot argue at the moment sadly.duke63 wrote:I bet they could sort the whole cost of this by raiding the offshore companies and their wealth.

Politicians rarely do what's right for the Country and its people, they do what is right for their political party and its funders.Blade wrote:Not shooting the messager Duke, but its not on taxing the honest, hard working man and woman when big corporation's take the absolute p1$$duke63 wrote:I bet they could sort the whole cost of this by raiding the offshore companies and their wealth.

As Cookie says its will be easy to railroad through increases and justify it by saying it will fund the NHS.

These comments aren't very jokey guys...
So here goes:
Why did the girl fall from the swing?
Because she had no arms.

I would love to see these plots on the same Y axis and starting at the same time point. I doubt you would see New Zealand's line.
