Merkle is being led by the scientists. She laid out a short and long term plan and explained the reasons for it. Germany is starting to relax some of the restrictions but Merkle has warned that Germany will shut down again if there's a rise in new cases.

I saw a chart and the four countries that have the lowest death per captia are all led by female leaders. I for one and bloody proud of how my home PM is running things.

A very German approach to a problem. San Francisco had a similar problem. People took to the streets to complain about the restrictions. You can guess what happened next.

I am not a conspiracy theorist and not against cure or treatment but I wont be putting any pharma products into my body after what happened to me

I don't think it did be mandatory. The flu jab isn't.
For people with healthy immune systems and no underlying conditions it should be strongly recommended.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
To try and put you at ease slightly, Perkles, this vaccine is a modification on a preexisting one, something that was being developed for 2 years already I believe.
When you consider than 2 years development without a pandemic is fast, you should also consider that they'll be working on numerous vaccines for numerous diseases/viruses.
At the moment, the entire world is working on numerous vaccines for only 1 virus so you can expect that time of 2 years total to be reduced just by sheer power of work force.
I'm personally not a fan of vaccines (although I do understand their benefit) so I do understand where you're coming from

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
I have no problems with vaccines, not generally speaking. You go & get your jab ~~ worst case, you maybe feel under-the-weather for a day or two ~~ and then everything is back to normal.

Re: Coronavirus - hype or pandemlc?
Perks after the horror show you went through with a well ‘tried and tested’ medication and the absolute denial from the majority of the medical field about it, I do not blame you in the slightest.
I’m all for vaccinations but being pretty healthy I’ll be sitting on the sidelines with this one for a while.

Wife has been told this morning there is a fair chance the school summer holidays will be cancelled this year and the kids will have to go back to school to make up for all these weeks they are missing. ![Evil grin ]:)](./images/smilies/emoticon-0116-evilgrin.gif)

We've read exactly the opposite, no chance of going back out of normal term time.Perkles wrote:thank God for that !duke63 wrote:Wife has been told this morning there is a fair chance the school summer holidays will be cancelled this year and the kids will have to go back to school to make up for all these weeks they are missing.

I don't think all the kids will be in all at once but i suspect they might be going back in a phased way from 1 June.
