Re: Tiger 900 Rally and GT
I know your interested in the 900xr Kwacky.
Would these Triumphs be of interest or are they more expensive for very similar kit?

Its out and about today.
I had to escape work for half and hour for a break and walked across the road to them. It is on the road now.

New Tiger review.
If i was going to buy this style of bike again, i think this would be the one for me.

Re: Tiger 900 Rally and GT
The power to weight ratio doesn't look the best. I guess it depends how it handles. I've not had a look at the bike in any detail or its competition. It's usually down to how much equipment/tech you get with the bike for the price.

Re: Tiger 900 Rally and GT
Test ride booked for next month. It's the earliest I can get out to them.
Test ride is weather dependent. Someone binned a new Africa Twin leaving the car park. The rider blamed the wet roads

Re: Tiger 900 Rally and GT
I took the off road version for a spin. Nice bike, Fewer electronics on this model, so the suspension is manual. Better seat IMO as it's a taller bike. It sounds better as well. The 21 inch front wheel makes the handling harder on the road than the 19inch on the GT
Good bike but I prefer the Honda. It just feels better as an overall package and it's got much better road presence.

Re: Tiger 900 Rally and GT
Nah, I've just got a mate working at a triumph/Honda dealership who knows I'm on furlough.
It has been interesting to treat the latest adventure bikes to compare them to my Africa Twin.
