I'd test ride one Cornishman, singles are a bit marmite.

Fair point Monty, i can see a trip to Croydon at the weekend (if they haven't been raided again by thieving thugs) yet the fuelling has got to be better than some other twins I've tried!Monty wrote:I'd test ride one Cornishman, singles are a bit marmite.

The fuelling is flawless. That was my concern after the RC8 fuelling, but it ride by wire and very good indeed. It feels like a small twin tbh.Cornish wrote:Fair point Monty, i can see a trip to Croydon at the weekend (if they haven't been raided again by thieving thugs) yet the fuelling has got to be better than some other twins I've tried!Monty wrote:I'd test ride one Cornishman, singles are a bit marmite.

Any other bikes though as I'm conscious the 690 is taking all the limelight here?

Interesting swap to the GSXR750, why is that if you don't mind me asking?bb41 wrote:Just selling my Duke 690 and I now have the trusty GSXR750 K9
Also, where's your 690 advertised?

Re: What bike should i get then....?
I had an MVf3 up until a week ago and the 690. I'd had the F3 for nearly 2 years and wanted to sell before I lost anymore on her. It saddened me greatly
So I didn't want 2 bikes in the garage as one always gets ridden less than the other so decided to do a major cull and sell everything.
Now I got the GSXR with the ideology that it would be easier to sell when the time comes as I would love, no I need the F3 800 but they are wanting mega bucks and to be quite honest since having the 750 since last weekend and limited time on her she rode lovely.
That's the story anyway. Mind you I've had a mare selling the 690. First bloke bought it on best offer on Friday, ready to pick up Monday. Then informs me he can't raise the cash
So back on ebay for the 2nd time and a friend contacted me and said he'd been looking for a minter for ages. Gave him my bank details to transfer the money. Came round to pick it up and decided he couldn't warrant the money
So 3rd time now on an auction instead of classified . Fingers crossed
