Nice work on the King tiger.
I'll get some pics up of what I'm working on later. And some stuff I've already done.

I'm hoping to have my king tiger ready in the next few days. Just waiting for a gloss coat to seal everything in to dry, then a couple of matt coats to dull it all back down again.

Pieces of string painted and tied around a small amount of what was a hair net! Think it gives a fairly decent effect

And this is from a brush! I had to cut one single bristle and then paint it. Gave it a bit of a bend to make it look battered then stuck it on

1:72 scale
It's a small model really. I've tried my best with it.
Unsure now whether to crack on with my 1:400 scale USS Enterprise aircraft carrier or to buy another model and keep practicing. I have made mistakes with this King Tiger and I can't have that happen on a massive ship!

That's an insane level of detail on something so small. I'm seriously impressed. Tw@t.
I couldn't paint it like that if it was full-size!!

Thanks D - to be fair I've had to do a fair amount of research, into getting it to this level! I've really enjoyed doing it. Here's a quick pic for scale. It's not even bigger than my hand and to be fair I have fairly small hands lol.
