Sounds like a mixed bag. Nothing worse than being denied sleep.
That pub you went to where you met Viv and Colin is just round the corner from where I work. I've not been there for a while.
Would love to come and see you at Rockingham but me and the Klan Kwacky will be in France.

Saturday was fab, Sunday not so...we felt a bit lost, lack of sleep & food...and we are used to being very self sufficient, you know how we roll normally!
That pub was on the edge of my old stomping ground too, Cov Poly mid 80's lol
And have a lovely holiday à la France...we'll catch up with you soon I'm sure

Mallory does need a bit of tarting up, but I doubt there will be any money spent there until there's some certainty with what they can do on the track and how often.

Re: Pitty Patter - our racing blog 2014
31/7/14: Rockingham round at the weekend was a massive success, despite a couple of odd moments for Pitty. I won't bore everyone with the detail, but can tell you that Nige once again shaved off a creditable 4 seconds from his times last year. He had a massive moment in Race 2, when he somehow avoided getting tangled up in a crash, using all his Jedi skills, and then went on to have a little lie down in Sunday's warm-up. We believe the two incidents were related, as the bike locked up and the bars smacked the lock-stop in the near miss, and the bike was found to be out of alignment after the low side, which was too gentle to have caused this damage. Pitty's gonna post up the videos very soon, so you can see for yourselves!!! Pit crew was awesome, and I must say a huge thanks to Dean, Spud and Baz, for their amazing efforts in getting Pitty and the bike back out for Race 1 on Sunday. We continued our run of top 20 results, with a hatrick of sub-P20s... Race 1 P18, Race 2 P20, Race 3 P19 and Race 4 P21. The improvements were steady, and Pitty was none the worse for dropping the bike in front of me at Tarzan!!! As ever, the entertainment in the evenings was mainly beer and BBQ fuelled...we had a ball, it was far too hot but I'm not complaining! Next stop, our favourite, Anglesey....maybe see some of you there! PS The Bury Times are now regularly publishing our updates, thanks to our Team Tog, Andy Baldwin, who is doing a fab job of marketing us! It still makes me a bit crazy to see our little team in print lol...

Nice one Moonie and Team Pitty.
I've not seen the video yet. I'll take a look when it's posted up.

Unfortunately we didn't manage to get any videos of Sunday's races (I think we left the camera and remote switched on while the guys were fixing the bike meaning that the remote wouldn't work)

That's your first off isn't it?
How did you feel afterwards? Any confidence issues?

Re: Pitty Patter - our racing blog 2014
Yep, that was my first off (on the track) I don't think you can ever predict how you'll feel after one but had no confidence issues at all after completing the warm up lap for race 1 on Sunday thankfully. In fact I put in my fastest ever laps after the off
It was a weird off, the front just let go on full lean, no throttle or brakes on, which is why we suspect that the geometry being out after the near crash on Saturday may have something to do with it? Baz also reported that the corner where I fell looked a bit shiny during the session too.
It might sound odd but Im really glad to get one under my belt, its been hanging over me for 18 months now, knowing its coming
