People shouldn't count their chickens... :^
I was working in a very "working club" type environment today, and took plenty of opportunity to engage with the locals.
As you would expect, they were all proud to identify as being of lifelong Labour voting stock.
What I found somewhat dismaying, was the percentage who wanted to point out that "for the first time ever I'm not voting Labour"....
Unbelievably, Corbyn seemed to be reviled, and Boris seen as a strong leader who was going to deliver the Brexshit they voted for. WTF.???
I looked on the internet, and the ward should be a Labour stronghold. Unlike Monty I would not have been perceived as a political pundit, so am confident the views I gently extracted would have been unguarded and frank.
Someone seems to have done a very effective job of projecting Corbyn's image negatively.?

Are we going to have a Tankslappers projected outcome for these results.?

Only positive aspect is Brexit 0 seats.
Conservatives with a 90 seat majority, that's going to see us undermining the EU as well as the future of the "united" Kingdom. :(
Amazing the power of social media, isn't it. (facepalm)

Boris can sweep everything though parliament as he wants, completely unchecked.

I would err on the side of caution and wait for the results to start coming in before you get suicidal.

Most of the people I know in Buxton did the canvassing from a chair at home or a barstool in the Queens.

Nah, not the end, maybe a dip, then up in about 100 years time.
It can't really get much worse than it has been for the last three years with no real leadership.

I wonder if the Cult of Corbyn will finally admit that their glorious leader is completely unelectable?

Britain sadly is still an inherently racist Country it would appear. I wonder how Sunderland will feel when Nissan move their factory to France?

Can we please stick to moaning instead of throwing the word Racist around please. Fairly offensive in my opinion
