All cars are starting to look similar now and I'm unsure if that's a new Mazda 3, Renault Megane or Seat Leon. It looks most like the Mazda IMO but it would make sense to be the Leon as the new Golf has just been announced so a new Seat is due a year later.Monty wrote:I see quite a few prototype/development cars road testing in the Peaks. They normally have foreign plates and support vans.
Not sure what this one was but it was testing in August last year. Thought it might be a new A Class, but the 2019 model's lights and reg plate are different.

Left it in the garage. It was pissing it down and the traffic is usually lighter on a Friday so I took a car.

No crashes, but the usual traffic that doubles the journey time in the car. After Monday the wet was a welcome relief, more grip.

First time ive started my bike since coming back from Portimao. Sprayed the fairings with autoglym and removed the grim/crap. Ordered new front titanium pinch bolts from pro bolt. Tomorrow remove the water from radiator as its getting frigging freezing , where i live. Also paid for 3 sets of dunlop tyres KR rear and GP front. Goodish deal at 921 of hard earned cash.

If it puts you at ease. I noticed my chain was quite slack and getting a bit rusty.
Still it has done almost 5000 miles without ever being cleaned or lubed.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Took it out for a mega blast up to Oxford, Wantage, Hungerford, Newbury, back roads up to Henley and home, I was getting a little cold when the heavens opened up on me..... Was not dressed for rain
Bloody freezing now.....
Did have a very fast race with a 911 in the wet
which took my mind off being wet and cold
Just warming up nbow, before I tackle the clean up, it looks like D6's machine....
