We get about two thirds of the rain the UK does...which is kind of surprising - at least to me, because it certainly doesn't feel like it rains that much.
But most of it falls in the mountains, the Central Valley, NorCal, etc.

Feck me this is worth a watch if you want to see corruption.
Malaysian Prime minister and some others stole Billions to live lavish lifestyles. Covers the investigation, chasing after these people and all sorts - incredible stuff.
The sums are staggering. The PM had 681 million dollars sent to his bank account, his wife bought 18 million dollars of handbags! One party cost around $100million in Vegas.
Well worth a watch - it's a BBC thing that was on BBC4 - its on iplayer. 80 minutes.
