Motogp 2015 rumours
From the Italian and Spanish press apparently, so take with a large dose of salt!
If the current Italian MCN and Spanish press are to be believed : Dovi and Cal are both leaving Ducati. Dovi likely going to Suzuki with Dominique Aegerter or Maverick Viñales. Cal not going anywhere but out of MotoGP. Aleix Esparago moves in with Ianonne. Jack Miller replaces Bradl, LCR expands to 2 seats sponsored by CWM, a UK Co as sponsor. Redding stays put, but Edwards, Bradl, Crashista and Smith leaving MotoGP altogether. .

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
Good find and I reckon some of it is true.
Big step up for Jack Miller.
Iannone deserves the factory Ducati ride IMO. Whether that is good or bad is debatable.

Cal has an option with ducati. If he can't find anything else he'd be mad to leave. Just collect loads of cash even if the bikes shit. Better than nothing...Blade wrote:Good find and I reckon some of it is true.

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
Good point Cookie. I guess Ducati might try and suggest / persuade a move to the Ducati factory sbk team for mega bucks if they want a.n.other on the desmosedici.

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
I could understand wanting to oust Cal if Ducati could get say Lorenzo in but cant see Espargaro is really any improvement.

Agree Duke. Iannone is there best man on the bike at the moment imo and I suppose his passport helps too.

My bet is cal goes to Suzuki if he does leave.
Aren't Aprillia coming into GP in 2015 too now ?

I believe Aprilia have run out of money.
Rossi is saying that 2016 will see some huge changes with the new rules.

Apparently Suzuki have offered to match his mega bucks factory Ducati pay cheque.C00kiemonster wrote:My bet is cal goes to Suzuki if he does leave.

Other rumours fueling a split from Ducati are Dovi and Iannone were issued with a new swingarm and rear link at the weekend but Cal wasn't. Also there is rumours of tension between Cal and team boss Giga Dall'Igna who celebrated his 48th birthday at the weekend and tweeted a team photo. One key member was missing , Cal.

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
Cheers for the link. The synic in me says he has already wrote off this season as I can't see him taking a risk of not recovering physocally in time for round 10 if he thought things would improve soon at Ducati.Kwacky wrote:The dreaded arm pump.

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
I agree with you. I reckon he'll start to put in some decent contract performances at the end of the season.

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
Silly season is already under way so maybe he has something nearly in the bank. He has to let Ducati know by 30th July if he wants to invoke the contract clause which releases him early at the end of this season. Suzuki seems the hot favourite although have heard Honda Gresini and LCR are interested but I think he wants to keep factory status so that only leaves Suzuki.

Re: Motogp 2015 rumours
Has he actually signed a contract or just verbal commitment as I heard the latter.
