I feel like you don't need more than 160bhp for the track but I'd take 300bhp for the road because of how easy it would be to ride at whatever speed you choose

No one is taking about banning it. There's a difference between needing and owning. I've never said you shouldn't be able to own a powerful bike. It's your money you should be allowed to buy what you like.Rossgo wrote:We don't need over 100bhp but none of us own anything less than 120bhp! Dangerous talk, imagine peoples pride and Joy's being banned as we 'don't need it!'![]()
PS. 2 of my bikes are sub 100 bhp

I'm pretty certain that on a twisting road most people will be as quick on 100bhp bike as they will on a 200bhp bike.
There are many more important factors that make a bike quick than its bhp figure.

Re: New supercharged Kawasaki incoming.
Fellas I was joking!! fully understand, 30 odd brake is enough to be honest I had a Zx250r and was still able to hit 85+MPH which more than enough on the road. I was just messing around. I can't remember who said it but if you look at cars. Today's hot hatches may have more power but their weight they are shifting around is crazy amount. When you look at a nice 90s hot hatch they were light with half the power but made you feel great. I fully understand how differently we can all view speed on different M/C's.
Whatever M/C we ride we all enjoy it

Re: New supercharged Kawasaki incoming.
Sorry for the late reply/thread revival, have had a lot on my plate.
I've seen this bike doing the rounds on social media. It looks a lot better from some angles than others.
Yeah, I think I would. Talk of too much power would rain on deaf ears as I straight-line hero my way to silly speeds.
In fact, I'd be going too fast to hear anything! Until a corner came up, obviously.

I mean, I wouldn't say no...Kwacky wrote:There's more than one judge though
This needs to be Itchy's next bike.

In all honesty...Blade wrote:Haha I really can see Itchy loving that mental kwacker![]()
