If you did want to go off road maybe look out for some second hand wheels so you have 2 options.

Second hand wheels are rare for these bikes and new ones are expensive.

Probably get your money back when you sell them and could get some 17" to give you more road tyre options.

have a look at the Pirelli Scorpion as well. Its what comes on the Multi as standard and the make a great road tyre.

edit: having seen what was in the tyre i don't think it will make any difference.

I've got one of those on my 675.
There was someone who got one & subsequently has drivetrain issues. Turned out that the item was slightly out of square. (FYI)

Sprockets aren't supposed to be square

They're certainly not supposed to be asymmetric either, apparently his turned out to be ( & it took a long time to identify the cause for the issue as I recall).
I would hope that it was a one-off, but felt it was worth mentioning.

They've got a really good reputation so I'm hoping it'll live up to the price tag.

So they company sent me the wrong colour sprocket. It's got the right label on the packaging and the company have confirmed that the bar code matches the correct one, so there must have been a problem at the factory. It's not an issue and I'm happy to keep it. It's like a light dull gold colour.

It's Cal Sport. They've offered to swap it but I'll stick with it.

289.5 miles on the clock since the last petrol stop. 22.55 litres went in. You notice the weight difference.

Ok. I'm taking my tiger in for a 6k mile service this weekend. Only collected it on 30th June and has 6,500 on her.

Just incase you were interested. Along with ACF50 all over I now also use during these winter months. Plaster every exposed bolt or bare metal with ACF Anti Corrosion block grease. I tried it when washing my bike over a month ago and not since..

It looked absolutely shitty filthy..and was worried about cloudy bolts and bare aluminium corrosion near the rear chain adjusters.

So jet washed the whole bike (knowing I'd have to retreat after jetwashing). Just to see condition.

And despite all the wet weather and not touching the bike for some time.

The bike looked brand new. Every bolt and bare Alu. Looked like it was when I collected the bike.

Just a thought for those that ride all winter.

I've got a tub of that stuff as well. I've used it on the Versys but not on the AT.

Over the next week weeks I'll give the AT a big clean and probably wheel it to the back of the garage for the winter.
