Re: Honda Superblade?
Looks a render to me.
The engine has GB Racing covers on which is unlikely on a launch/ show bike so suspect the image is photo shopped.

Re: Honda Superblade?
Top half looks like a mish-mash of any number of bikes.
Bottom half seems like a retro effort.
Was it designed by both Honda & Optimus Prime working together??

Re: Honda Superblade?
Looks like Showa gas charged forks in that mock up image but I've heard it will have Ohlins.

Re: Honda Superblade?
Hope so but if they are keeping with history the Blade has always been an IL4.Jack wrote:it doesn't look very wide and the exhaust arrangement would suggest its a V4

Re: Honda Superblade?
That looks crazy. I just wish Honda were brave enough to create this

Re: Honda Superblade?
One of the guys at Honda told me that there's a whole list of new Honda sportsbikes for 2021. Honda are keeping quiet though about which models, not that there's much to chose from unless they're bringing out some new ones.

Re: Honda Superblade?
True but they both needed to change their engine configuration to maintain competive within wsbk rules. Honda doesn't neet to move away from the IL4.D6Nutz wrote:Ducati and Aprilia had a history of bring v-twins... Hope I'm wrong and they make a v4 or even better a v5 bike but I will be shocked if they do. Sales volumes for sportsbikes are too low to fund an engine development programme when not actually needed.
