Calling all you Triumph and IT experts
Anyone know if the free windows version of TuneECU will work with a bluetooth connection?
I cant seem to get it to work but not sure if:
A) The windows tuneecu software only works hardwired as in the connection tab on the software front page the only option listed for connection is serial or USB
OR
B) my bluetooth adapter is not compatible
Thanks for any help that can be offered.

I would be very scared flashing my ECU via Bluetooth...
It was enough when I flashed the KTM ensuring that all hard wired connections where solid and permanent power was available to the laptop.
It's bad enough risking bricking a couple of hundred quid phone with a bad flash, but a few grands worth of bike..

Thanks but I was aware of that Duke, sorry if I worded the question badly.
Iam using a bluetooth dongle but via the windows version of the software and Im unsure if bluetooth only works with the android version of the software.

Totally agree and the bike has factory warranty so I wasnt wanting to flash it, it's for resetting serivce indicator etc.
I dont need to do it for a year but I like to fiddle and play

Wouldn't resetting the service indicator invalidate the warranty?
I know it's very murky waters with approved used BMW's.

Any hints on what it would work with?
