Re: Speed triple colour
I've voted grey but it's a close call.
That white is really nice in the sun.

White by a mile....although the red fenders on either bike belong on a fishing boat.

Re: Spwed triple colour
I voted white because it's the colour I would buy - HOWEVER - that matt grey looks incredible and far better than the white!!
I'd buy white because it isn't matt paint first and foremost

Re: Spwed triple colour
I voted grey. it looks a little meaner and matt paint is not that hard to look after, Motul sell a good matt cleaner/polish which worked really well on my MT-10.

Would have to see both in the flesh. I probably would choose white though as I prefer a gloss finish.

Re: Spwed triple colour
I own a matt helmet and it's now partially polished, partially brown (i presume the primer?!), and still covered in bug splatter.Kwacky wrote:What's wrong with matt bikes? Have you owned one?
I'm not one to go on a big ride then want to come back and clean the thing - plus I usually ended up going for another ride the following day so then would leave the bike a week or 2 before I look at it again.
Matt ownership isn't for me which is a shame because I personally LOVE matt grey and matt white

Re: Spwed triple colour
Well Grey, obviously.! Grey's the fastest colour.
Fwiw like Cav I have some reservations about matt finish.; When the matt surface ages, does it not get polished out at the areas of constant contact (like knee points ).?
Having said that, my Aprilia Rs250 is matt silver.

Is that because Aprilia forgot the clear coat?StMarks wrote: my Aprilia Rs250 is matt silver.

I'm envious you have an RS250 though!!! Do you track it?

Re: Spwed triple colour
Grey is my favourite colour but I voted white. The grey looks too close to the frame colour and in that pic the white seems more balanced.
IRL I might have a completely different opinion.

Re: Spwed triple colour
The white Triumph uses has an iridescent quality to it that really "pops" in sunlight. Matte paint (of any color) has an unfinished look to it....stealth mode!!

I voted grey.
Incase we ever have a ride out together. My bike is white.
Come to think of it. It is more a grey

Re: Spwed triple colour
Nope, it just sits in the corner of my garage gathering dust. My D675 is my track tool, and I would be too concerned about trashing my mint Rs250 to enjoy track riding it properly.Cav wrote: I'm envious you have an RS250 though!!! Do you track it?

Re: Spwed triple colour
I don't have any concern.....
I've never actually seen one in the flesh. A mate did "apparently" fit a 250 engine to his RS125 but I'm not convinced it was the real deal. It was quite quick though but he bottled it in the bends
