Remember the fuss about them a few weeks ago?
Well they are being trialled in France already.

Re: Noise cameras
I wonder how this will go when they realise that most sports cars and fecking stupid 6 litre V8 range rovers / AMG mercs / etc will also trigger these ??

Re: Noise cameras
Isn't there a certain irony about the French, of all people, handing out tickets for things that are overly loud & obnoxious??

Re: Noise cameras
I've avoided France (on the bike, still go on family holidays) since 2008 when they banned me for 3 months and very nearly impounded my company car. If Sarah hadn't been there and insured to drive it, I would have lost the car and possibly my job. All that for 20kph over the limit, I can nearly run that fast!
Go to Spain, much much better roads and the cops don't give a fudge.

Re: Noise cameras
I'm just impressed that Monty can run 20kph over the speed limit. That's pretty damn fast for a guy his age.

Re: Noise cameras
Well that a relief if it's in france they defo won't get it up and running correctly. They will get false readings even from that old granny driving a little Yaris! They will declare it as a failure and be done with it. Thank you France for dealing with this crap for the rest of Europe.
