Not sure the bike needs anymore power than it has now and the technology isn’t going to be cheap. I predict more than £20k to buy.

That will indeed be a weapon! I was surprised it has come about so quickly after the V4 release.
But like Duke says even my MTS model (pre DVT) never feels like it’s lacking power.

Re: Multistrada 1260 V4 coming
I loved my Multis - brilliant bikes.
But after six years it was time to try something new.
The last thing that made my mind up was the three speeding fines in France plus -(and , i had kept this to pretty much to myself til now) about two weeks before we went i got pulled by an unmarked police car. Fortunately he was not able to track my speed as he had pulled onto the main road i was on, from a side road and by the time he caught up i had slowed down as i was entering a village and behind a line of cars. Had he clocked my speed i would have been in deep shit. Licence losing territory and where my family is at the moment that would have had severe consequences in a difficult enough situation.
It was far too easy to see 130+ on the speedo in a matter of seconds.
I can't see why you would need 30bhp more on the V4. Where would you be able to use it? The bike has adaptive cruise control too which is a simple step to speed limiters.
That is my view anyway. Its each to their own.

Back road twisties are the answer Duke. 80 feels like warp speed and it's only 3 points

Yes i think that is the place to be. I had huge fun on that Street twin last week by sticking to very twisting back roads. It was still very capable of 80mph on those roads when the opportunity arose.
