Oh forgot to mention, before we arrived a dude got flown out in helicopter to hospital with an axe wound during a mock battle
Think they might want to revisit there ‘mock battle’ criteria.

Heavy, motorised gardening at my Mums old house, in preparation for it changing hands week after next, proper slog getting it sorted out.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Have had a bit more digging on the ancestry path. Talked to my Aunt on mums side today to get info on my Nan. Totally forgot she was adopted as well. So with Dad and my mums mum being adoptees and mums dad dying very early looks like I’m pushing the proverbial up hill finding any lineage.

Are you sure you want to go with that??
IIRC the Vikings were the first to greet each other with "Sieg Heil!"
On second thoughts, you could maybe have some fun with that one.

I’ve left my homeland and am pillaging a foreign shore of riches and women, I’m pretty sure I’m a Viking

Re: What are you doing today ??
Picked up my American niece and nephew from the airport for 5 day visit. They’ve been up in North Queensland visiting their Nan for a week and then I ship them back to US on Wednesday. I haven’t seen them for 15 yrs, and they were 3 and 5 then!!
Drove them home via the Sydney Harbour Bridge, stopping at some tourist markets to buy the obligatory koala t-shirts and the like, pizza and majitos for lunch, visit to my mates distillery and then home. Within 30 mins they both fell asleep
will have to wake them soon to go to the local for dinner.

Working this morning but changing the shower pump at my Mums house this afternoon, we found it was knackered/seized while cleaning and gardening last week. Why are shower pumps always in such difficult to get to places? My back is killing me atm, it may well be time for some “anaesthetic” I think.

You're such a role model.
It's forecast to be 90 frickin' degrees today, so I guess I'll be staying indoors & watching movies, playing guitar, sleeping, etc.
Mostly sleeping, because there's not much else worth doing in heat like that. Hopefully it'll burn off a few lbs. from my sculpted physique.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Today has been working from 4:30 to 19:30 and phoning Estate Agents and Solicitors re the sale of my Mothers house which completed today at 16:45pm - not assisted by their mortgage broker who’d forgotten a form. The paperwork snag nearly left a family of four including two young lads out on the street this evening, whereas they were still working like dogs at 20:30 this evening to sort beds out for everyone. Black crash tonight I think.
