@Blade
Where abouts are you coming from?
I was thinking meet at Crossgates then play from there including Newtown. If theres any roads you know from there then up for a play
An early start would be in order if that's possible? Maybe meet at Crossgates for 1030 have 4 or so hours playing in Wales then head back?
I will just bomb it straight to meet point - Crossgates is approx 3.5 hours away with a couple of stops for fuel from here

Might get there for 1030 but saying 11am to be on the safe side.
I plan to meet Andy in Oswestry at 9am, which is about 1hr 10min according to Google maps, so quick refuel and drink and should be with u around 1030am or 11am very latest.

Re: Midweek ride out Wales Wednesday 3rd July (Rossgo)
This sounds perfect Blade. Really looking forward to it. I have a little route from Crossgates to Aber via Newtown (main roads). I may then make another little route on A roads to the very bottom of Snowdonia and then go across and back to Newtown or somewhere close. Unless you guys know where you are going and would prefer to lead.
Haven't had time to create a proper route I'm afraid but the A roads are a lot better in Wales than what I experience here down south!

Re: Midweek ride out Wales Wednesday 3rd July (Rossgo)
I ll check later but I think the main road A44 from Newtown to Aber is closed for resurfacing and if it's anything like we did last year on the same road it was like driving through tar for 3 or 4 miles and made a right mess of the bikes
There are lots of options from crossgates and I'll bring my Satnav. We can have a chat there and come up with a plan that everyone likes and avoids road closures or tar endurance courses

Re: Midweek ride out Wales Wednesday 3rd July (Rossgo)
Oh crap didn't realise it was closed. Been to Aber a couple of times this year but haven't really been along the A44 for a while as been going different ways.
Yes sounds good to me to talk about it. I'll have my sat nav anyway, I'm happy with most routes as long as they aren't dirt tracks which I know it won't be lol
See you approx 1030/ 11AM at Crossgates.
Hoping I leave early enough to miss the traffic.
Screw it I'll leave at 0700hrs. If early I'll grab a bacon sarnie

Re: Midweek ride out Wales Wednesday 3rd July (Rossgo)
I'm planning to leave 7am too so should be fine with 1030am.
Don't worry I'm not planning on any dirt tracking we will stick to main roads. I've found an alternative route into Aber which I've had recommended so can chat about that as a possible option tomorrow. If we both have Sat navs we will be fine.
Will be a good day buddy.
