Mid Wales Run - Sunday 13th July
[img:1fnf5t3b]https://mapsengine.google.com/map/edit? ... LzY7SLIEaY[/img:1fnf5t3b]
Having missed a ride last Sunday , I have to get out this one. Hence I am doing a loop of mid Wales, weather looks settled for the Sunday so if anyone wants to join me you would be most welcome.
Don't know if you can see the map through the link I tried to create but in short If coming from the North Merseyside, above and East I will be at the Raven Truck stop at Whitchurch at 9.00, cup of tea. Then 9.30 ish head down A49 to Craven Arms- breakfast at the Railway Café.If you are coming from the Midlands, Craven Arms is perfect meeting place .I think I will be there approx. 10.15.Then its West to Newtown, A483 to Crossgates another stop. Then A44 to Aberystwyth, stop and chill for a bit, then up towards Bala. Alternatively for the guys coming from Birmingham way we could head back towards Welshpool then go our own ways North and East respectively.
The above still remains weather dependant of course no point in tip-toeing around mid Wales on a wet day !!!
I hope to meet up with some of you.cheers

Re: Mid Wales Run
We can't see the map.
I'll see you at the Craven Arms at 9.30
Which one is the Railway Cafe? On the main road heading North just after the petrol station?

I'll see you at the Craven at 10.15. I think it might be called the Station Cafe, not the Railway.

I can't make it unfortunately as we've got a family weekend away this weekend but a great route so hope you all have a great day.
I think the station cafe is the one we want in from memory Dale.

Dale, if there's no interest and with the forecast looking patchy do you want to drop this off to next weekend?

Re: Mid Wales Run - Sunday 13th July
Hi Kwacky, keep checking weather and it looks ok to me. I will be doing this run anyway this week and again next if weather permits if nothing better comes up. Happy to leave as is , I will just add another for next week. I get special permission to ride on a Sunday and while the summer is here that is just what I intend to do. Cheers

Problems on the family front so I'm dropping out (see slapper chat section). Sorry Dale.
I'll organise something for next week.
