That thing was an animal iirc, from what I recall that was the bike the Colin Edwards jumped off of when his man veg was on fire following a fuel cap malfunction...

they were trying a lot of tech on that bike that wasn't really ready then but is now , fly by wire , adjustable mapping and a host of other things which are all standard on todays motogp bikes and even some production machines.
