Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I've finished buying all my service parts for the bike now including:
Oil
Oil Filter + washer
K&N Recharge Kit
Spark Plugs
Battery (MotoBatt)
Putoline Ice Cooler coolant
Exhaust gasket
& Various fairing fasteners
They should all be here by Wednesday and I should have the bike 95% complete by the end of next weekend.
Only thing left to do is check the brake pad material, and linkage/headstock bearings.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Did a test run of Mondays commute, just so I know the fuel burn and how my gear will cope with the cold mornings. Couple of minor issues, my neck gets cold and my boots are definitely summer boots.
As the sun came out I came back on the a4074 past infiniti and h-cafe. Bought a helmet cleaning kit, a scottoiler refill, and a balaclava.
I then forgot what the bike was and that it had the full luggage on and took it for a rag round the lanes

Just had time to pop home for dinner today and fitted the headlight protector ready for tomorrow, not bad for £20 and will stop the growing collection of stone chips form getting any worse.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I took it for a ride to bike shop to have a shot on the manual version that I booked in for weeks ago (it was an Adventure Bike day at local Honda/Triumph dealer) - then went for first proper ride on my own one.
Was good to compare manual and DCT close together, glad I went for DCT version.
And here’s a photo for no real reason...

Took it out for a razz this morning - only to find one of my fave Cheshire roads was closed.
Still nice to get out and swing through a few bends.

Yesterday I took off the cover and realises it was full of condensation. Let it sir for a couple of hours. Also made my Kriega hoops bigger so it fits the 30lt a little easier. So badly want a ride!!

Cheers guys, yeah just a little hobby of mine. Enjoying the bike as a new subject, and a great excuse to get out and play on it more often.

Ha!!
That photo of your bike by the Forth Bridge....that's the very spot I first sat on a bike!!
School trip to Edinburgh back in '77-ish. We'd stopped for a rest/regroup there and some guy had a brand new Norton Commando & he let us all have a sit on it. I couldn't even touch the pegs (they're still a bit of a stretch..).
Damn....that was a lifetime ago.

Funnily enough, a wee lad was walking past with his mum and he was mesmerised by the bike, so I said he could have a sit. He was over the moon, and like you couldn’t even reach the bars/pedals.
Perhaps in x years to come he’ll be telling a similar story on some 3D holographic group chat about bikes...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I gave the Versys a bit of a scrub. It's going in for a service on Thursday so I didn't want it looking too shabby.
I really need to take both wheels off and give them and what's behind them a good clean. That's a job for another day.

Therapy.... wheeled the bike out the garage, gentle run out to start, ended in a ride it like you stole it half hour... Therapy in the form of two wheels was very needed and welcome this afternoon. Glad I made an effort.
