You can keep the cider...AND keep the gin as far as I'm concerned ......just gimme the alcohol.

Yeah off all pharmaceutical pain killers for last 4-5 days. Going to sound like a complete hippy but surviving on Essential Oils. The brand I use (Jess’ side business) do a herbal pain relief veg cap that is doing wonders. Combining that with a oil concoction Jess made up and gets applied topically to the aching muscles. Doing wonders and not causing side effects like the other meds.D6Nutz wrote:Mixing pain killers and alcohol? Or are you off the serious pain killers.?kiwikrasher wrote:Cider and Gin.
Was drinking my gin with ginger beer, lime and cucumber... delicious

Generally any straight laced dry. It’s a bit of a waste to use a gin that has a colourful botanical flavour like a Monkey 47. Been using a Aussie gin called Westwinds Sabre and my mates gin Ironbark 313.Deegee wrote:Which gin are you mixing with ginger beer Kiwi?

It’s called a gin mule and it’s perfect for summer!

Sounds tasty, I’ve heard of the Moscow Mule, but as I rarely drink voddy I haven’t tried it, I’d forgotten about the Gin Mule completely tbh.
If and when we get some resembling a summer I’ll try and report back. (Snow warning currently looming for tomorrow into Wednesday)

Tanqueray & Fever Tree, fwiw I’ve got beer in the cupboard, but but still fancy a G&T.
Gotta be in the mood for beer, but I’m always ready for Gin.

Beer makes me turn into a rapid fire poo shooting bazooka, I really used to enjoy a good beer but it doesn’t enjoy me anymore.Kwacky wrote:When there's beer available?
