Re: Mr Postman
Not strictly speaking from the postman, but I had some mail today.
Of the e variety.
Confirming my flight home.
30 days, 5 hours and 47 minutes from now. Not that I'm counting or anything.

Re: Mr Postman
Ordered a fake Ridge Wallet from China. Its basically a plastic (carbon fibre - mine will be fake I'd guess!) Wallet which holds credit cards and has a money clip for notes. I wouldn't mind one to try.
The real The Ridge Wallets are approx £80 or sometjing silly which I just dont want to spend so for a fake £6 one it's worth a go!

Re: Mr Postman
A R&G rear axle bobbin/slider set, much cheaper than a new paddock stand for the GT.
I will probably only use it for checking the chain tension.

A new phone. I've gone Chinese and got a Huawei mate 20 pro. The camera on it is something else!

They're supposed to be excellent.
Let me know how you get on with it. I'm due an upgrade

Oooh. Swanky, and expensive. I'm on the upgrade hunt as my phone is now 3 1/2 years old. I've got my eye on the oneplus 6t at the moment, gets released next week and will start at about £500.Kwacky wrote:DaytonAndy wrote:A new phone. I've gone Chinese and got a Huawei mate 20 pro. The new contract is £42 a month butI pre ordered the mate 20 so I get a Huawei watch gt and wireless charger free too. I'm waiting for a protective case to come before I road test the new phone as I'm pretty good at dropping new phones

Re: Mr Postman
Andy I’ve used an Otterbox Defender for 4yrs, no marks on either phone and no cracked screens. Bulky, but good to paraphrase Dud in Crazy People.
We had a new soundbar delivered yesterday, I’m still learning to drive it.

Re: Mr Postman
Thanks Deegee, I've used Otterbox cases in the past but they don't seem to do the defender series for the new phone yet. Unfortunately the heavy duty case selection is a bit limited for the new phone at present.

Re: Mr Postman
Dressing gowns, paper drinking straws and a comb all from Amazon, problem is I didn’t order the comb, but it’s a carbon fibre comb so it’s finders keepers.

They've had 3 this year and all 3 have had issues. The last one was a F3 which was brand new, the fan didn't kick in so it overheated.

A letter from Birmingham Council telling me I've moved.
