Nah, it's attracts grit and you end up with marked brake discs. I like clean and polished discs.

ACF50 does not damage plastics & rubbers, is fireproof & prevents corrosion.
I have used it for the last 5/6 times I have rebuilt brake calipers, and it seems to work exceptionally well for me.

Just because I do it, does not mean anyone else should do so. -There may be a pitfall that I have yet to experience, and I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else from following my approach.
