Re: A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports
Great write up Kwacky. Not my type of bike mainly because im very short and therefore would not be able to deal with this bike!! But its certainly a different type of bike for you and also seems like you can have some fun on it too. Clearly it is something that could make it in to your garage at some point if you decide it

Cheers Rossgo.
I'm in no rush for a new bike at the moment. I think I'm going to wait a few weeks to see if there are any offers about. You usually get a sale or offers of extras at the end of the biking season.

Defo - keep your eyes peeled you usually do find a good deal so it's nice to be in no rush. Take it easy and something will pop up in sure of it

The devil on my shoulder is telling me to tell you to do it.
The angel on my shoulder is telling me "f**k it, it's not your money, tell him to do it"!
Hope this helps.

Or:
Keep the Versys. Run the Honda in over autumn. Let the Versys take another winter battering.
Sell the Versys in Spring.
Not that I've been thinking about it or owt.

Depends how sensible your feeling!
Ultimately it depends if the space in your garage is too much to bear

Re: A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports
I’d be surprised if there are any left come January, Lings will shift those to prevent having dead money sitting around in the showroom. I’m not sure if that price would go up or down for cold hard cash, a lot of companies factor the finance earnings into a price to make it look good.

Re: A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports
I could do I suppose. The counter argument is that I did the same last years with the offer on the KTM 1290 Superduke GT. But they never dropped the price again and you still can't get a nearly new one for the price of the 2017 offer.

I've asked my mate at Sutton Honda if they'll price match.

Re: A fling with an Africa Twin Adventure Sports
/does a little dance.
They couldn't quite price match for hard cash. But I've got a very good deal with a load of extras which will see the bike kitted out with pretty much everything I need.
