Attending my son's swimming gala at school today.
Then once I've done that I'll be off back to Norfolk to do a quick bomb-building refresher course tomorrow.
Marham, here we come.

That was the demo bike just by me! He was adamant he didn't do anything illegal...I agree he would of been kaning it!Kwacky wrote:I remember that doing the rounds. There's no way he was doing 30mph.

This holiday is different to any other holiday we usually go on. It's not full of activities or big trips, this on has seemed to be pretty chilled and more of a old fashioned holiday. Even played crazy golf today!

£4000 of damage and rider pays £250 excess which is pretty decent imo.Kwacky wrote:I wonder how much the rider has to pay towards that little bill?
Apparently a silly accident. The guy riders a supersport as his normal ride so decent bike with some poke and good brakes. He had been out an hour and a half so plenty of time to get used to the v4 and then crashed it at 20mph as he grabbed the brake too hard and went over the bars.
Broke his wrist too unfortunately.

Just got back from playing on this
Quick bike and once I put the suspension on its hardest setting handled well too.
Bloody good fun and can see why they embarrass sportsbikes on the road

Re: What are you doing today ??
I am prepping kit etc ready for friday when I will be the official trackday photographer at Rockingham , I have a mobile studio set-up and have just bought a plain white paper backdrop so we can do some static shots at lunchtime , the backdrop I had before was cloth and wrinkled and creased easily so I didn't really do too much with it but still got reasonable results , I am hoping that the new backdrop will give the effect I am looking for , hoping the images sell well too , I could do with an injection of capital . The chap running the TD is also running one at Cadwell on 1st August and he's offering a 10% discount on a £110 trackday , Loose Cannon Trackdays on Facebook if you are interested .

Re: What are you doing today ??
Spending this evening learning 25 songs after getting a call from a mate asking me to potentially fill in for him in his function band in a couple of weeks.
None of it is hard stuff to play but not the normal stuff I play (lots of pop) so not hard learning the songs, just the sheer amount I need to learn and remember haha

Re: What are you doing today ??
Got to the private hospital yesterday, had a consult with the surgeon. He’s not doing the surgery. Reckons I got mis-diagnosed. He said it’s a sperm granuloma from a epididymal blowout. Basically because I had a vasectomy but you still produce sperm, sometimes that pressure buildup can blowout and cause a painful lump on the testicle. So over nighted and issued a sick cert till Monday and currenlty waiting to get discharged. Get reviewed by my doc on Monday and if pain continues to reduce as it has been I should be back out to work on Wednesday to do my last week of my swing. I’m still in moderate pain. The surgeon said it will go away ‘eventually’.

I've heard of people busting their nuts at work but that's ridiculous.
I'm sure you'll take it all in your strides.

Ha ha, yeah when I told Jess she had a little panick attack as that’s our only ‘roadblock’ as it were. But the urologist assures me it’s all still 100% safeCavetroll87 wrote:that's how manly you are kiwi, not even surgery can stop your baby maker from working!!!
