Re: What are you doing today ??
One of my Birthday presents from Mrs Gee a month back was a day at a Cookery School with my Brother, it was themed around Sicilian recipes, including Arancini, Pasta alla Trapanese, Pasta con Sarde and Caponata, plus a basic pasta making lesson, there were a couple more I wasn’t as impressed with, but were sweet.
It was an excellent day in a brilliant setting - a former country house in It’s own grounds, we did lunch eating our own creations, we strolled by their lake afterwards and at the end of the afternoon we boxed everything uneaten in std takeaway boxes.
Mrs & Mini Gee got stuck into some sweet ricotta and chocolate casseteddi (mini empanadas) when we got back, and I’ve got leftovers to spare for next week.
All in all a very enjoyable way to spend a Saturday.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Currently waiting for my own private helicopter for a emergency medivac from offshore. Sitting on a fentanyl drip.
Oh boy you are all going to laugh...
Highly suspected I have a testicular tortion. Basically I’ve twisted my nut in my nutsack and I’m strangling it to death. If it is and I don’t get into surgery soon I could lose it.
Luckily I have all the kids I want!!

Kiwi I sympathise completely, my oldest lad got TT when he was about 13, he ended up up in Hossie for a couple of days and prior to the op was in agony. Not good at all.
Helluva way to get shoreside though.....

Seems it’s got blood flow but possibly still partially twisted. Still a fair bit of pain. Funnily enough the triage nurse and the ultrasound tech were both Jessica’s, so my Jess had a chuckle that other Jess’ are playing with my junk. Overnighting at this stage for observation.
