I think I'll be pulling into Crossgates just about now on the Versys.
I'll have something sportier when I move house. Maybe I'll phone in sick when I've got a new toy

Sounds good Kwacky. I'm up for it. Mid week is so much quieter.

Sweating my arse off on a plastic seat, ok E-leather, in a mobile greenhouse with sod all ventilation... I don't drink on a work night but the thought of a cold pint is really nice.

Washed the car, washed the bike, washed my riding gear, cut the lawn front and back, re laid some turf, had a meeting with the building manager, painted the hall and cleaned the house.
Currently enjoying a well earned beer on the swing seat at the bottom of the garden before school finishes and the kids disturb my peace.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Had a seminar this afternoon on new treatments for brain injury patients. Really well presented.
One of the speakers told us that MDMA is being used to treat PTSD and it's very effective.
They're also trying LSD to see what effect it has on patients with effects of traumatic bran injury.
We also had a woman telling us about neuro-music therapy which sounded like hippy tambourine tapping crap, but when you see the videos it's stunning. One 60 year old had a full stroke and couldn't talk, so they taught him to sing. Your brain uses the left side to talk and the right side for music, so singing bypasses the issues. After 10 sessions this guy went from effectively being mute, to being able to sing an understandable conversation.
We also had a mate of mine talking about life before and after an amputation.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Today I watched a guy repair the roof on my car. Did an excellent job and really made me wonder how the feck the dealerships can charge quite so much for a far inferior job.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I've got my annual appraisal today.
After yesterday's set back with the house I'm like a wounded bear. I need to reel myself in before the meeting otherwise it could be a bloodbath with no winner.
