Sykes and Rea

No love lost between these two after yesterday.

It as hard to see who was at fault from the TV footage. They obviously don't get on at all though. Next race will be interesting.

Racing incident, sour grapes on both parts, but I agree I like Sykes more than Rea but who cares when Lowes finally got his 1st win!!

I think the series is in trouble , constantly playing with the rules and adjusting the performance of the machinery to enhance the spectacle diminishes the validity and prestige of the series as a whole , they should look at BSB which has very good racing most rounds and although in the recent past the Kwacks and Dukes have been very strong we have had a Yamaha win the title and Honda and BMW and Suzuki on the podium , I think they could do a lot worse than adopting BSB rules .

I agree completley although I would like to see them keep electronic wizardry, I think if the bikes have them as stock they should be allowed to use them as then improvements would trickle down to us lot. I think basically superstock in terms of electronics but superbike engines is the way to go for me personally.

I don't think the manufacturers would be interested unless they could use the electronics.

All the manufacturers have teams working on electronics for the road within their own testing teams which are not regulated by race series rules and can run hundreds of laps over the course of a single test . I don't think the pace of advancement for rider aids would slow at all if it were removed from racing .

The use of a regulated electronics package such as they have in BSB has not discouraged entries to that series , the argument could be made that it is more attractive because it is a more even playing field and "lesser" teams have a chance to win not only races but even the championship . Brookes finished 2nd last year on the TAG Yamaha ahead of the works supported Yamaha team .

I agree in that I think BSB is amazing and it does level the playing field but for me personally it just seems mental that a bike can have more electronics on it in superstock than superbike
