Re: Bradley Smith
He's probably made enough cash to do whatever he wants outside of racing , I think Redding is done in that paddock too .

Re: Bradley Smith
I can't help bit feel that's a decision that will haunt him at such a young age, he doesn't strike me as a Casey Stoner type that just go fishing, look at Ben Spies, he clearly wants to get back on a bike

Re: Bradley Smith
I'd have a go at WSBK if i was him, as has been said he'd regret stopping and there is no shame coming out of MotoGP, there are so few seats. A different paddock may refresh him.

Re: Bradley Smith
Testing and development might be an option for him.
You can see why he wants out though. He's really struggled since they changed the tyres. He is 28 and he's been in the Moto paddock for quite some time. He's never going to beat his 2015 season.

Re: Bradley Smith
He's made it clear though that he only wants to ride in MotoGP. He's got no interest in production bikes.

Re: Bradley Smith
cant help but feel he is cutting off his nose to spite his face, I cant see him getting a career as a pundit as I don't think he has enough personality for that, I cant see him having enough money to live on for the rest of his days, I dunno, just seems a bit of an immature response to me in some ways, like he cant have the best so he doesn't want anything at all

Re: Bradley Smith
I think he'd have a hard time getting a ride anywhere , there are plenty of younger riders with more hunger and at least as much talent as he has . If I were a team owner or manager I wouldn't employ him .

Re: Bradley Smith
I think, he has the talent and experience to deliver results. Its mostly down to what bike you have under your nuts. For years i knew if you give Jonathan Rea at package he would produce results, total domination to the point of obvious results. Give all the riders the exact same bike, and then we would see the talent, and I'm sure brads would be amongst it.

Re: Bradley Smith
Too young to be a test rider imo. He should be racing. If not in motogp another series.
How many racers become test riders and then land a good ride in a race team.

Re: Bradley Smith
Smith is 27
Stoner was the same age.
Some riders want to call it a day on racing sooner than others.

Re: Bradley Smith
I dont think Smith wants to call it a day though.
I believe he wants a motogp ride but none are available to him, so he has taken something that was on offer to stay in the motogp paddock.
Many GP riders see wsbk or BSB as a big backwards step.
Bradley has alot of talent would have liked to see him in BsB

Re: Bradley Smith
He will also be doing 5 races on the Aprilia next year. Sounds like a good job to be doing to me.
