Marquez is amazing to watch. The fact he wants, has the believe and probably has the talent to win a motogp race after a pitlane ride through Is amazing but he crossed a line yesterday and went too far.

Red mist can't be allowed in a class of 220mph motorcycles.

Interested to here if the FIM make comment as they are the ruling body. Dorna just rent the championship off them.

As was said in commentary though, they have shot themselves in the foot the bit after letting Canet get away with the exact same thing without any punishment at all.

I cant help but feel that the worst person he could have hit and knocked off was Rossi, I'm a little annoyed with him more than anything coz now it will set all the Rossi GOAT Keyboard warriors off for months again. That's just plain selfish

It's happened before. His riding was aggressive and he pushed people out they penalised him in the race. Other riders including Rossi have done all this before and worse. Love the mind games from Rossi trying to get him some sort of penalty and getting into his head. It's going to be a great season

Zarco was a prick this weekend and always has been, but he's not on the radar like Marquez is.

I still think he should have started from the pit lane or been black flagged from the start when he stalled on the grid and held up race start. I’m sure they are the rules.

Pit lane start is the correct procedure.

Firstly the organisers should have followed the established rules rather than make it up as they went along.

For the future, they should alter the rules for those who choose to leave the grid should start from the pitlane in quali order two seconds apart and with a 30 second penalty.

If everyone does that, no problem with safety. If some stay on the grid, they are rewarded for the correct choice of tyre or bravery.

Alternatively noone should be allowed to come off the grid and they have to come in after the first lap (or whenever they like after the start).

In terms of Marquez and what he did on the grid, he should have been black flagged for not following procedure - everyone's tyres cooled a lot waiting for him to dance up and down the grid.

Marquez should banned for a race as a reminder to all. Problem is they let Canet get away with his outrageous move in practice for moto3 which was also stupid.

All the Rossi v Marquez shit is kicking off on social media. It should not just become an argument between these two.

Marquez accepted he cocked up by raising his hand to other riders before the Rossi incident. He appeared to be totally out of control.

As a minimum he should start at the back of the grid for the next race.

I would like to just enjoy the racing and the rules be followed to maintain fairness. Not alot to ask or expect.

All the politics and arguing and changing rules etc spoils the show imo.

If Dorna can't enforce a fair championship and follow their own rules the FIM should pull them up and ensure fairness and parity are maintained.

Simple, no drama, do what it says on the tin approach to a storm in a tea cup.

MM on VR was not a bad move in the slightest, MM didn't knock VR off the bike or the circuit, VR took himself of the circuit and fell because he was trying to lean on wet grass - a man of his calibre should know that will never work.

I haven't seen the other passes by MM to have any comment on them but that one on VR was absolutely fine. Also, he did look back and put his hand up

Nothing about that pass was right, there was no room and he pushed Rossi right off the racing line and eventually onto the grass.
