One of the reasons I've changed mine is the Oem grip is so hard it's like gripping a scaffold pole bolted to a cement mixerand my hands throb at the end of a ride.
I have this problem but not when riding the bike,
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
went into oxford to try and get a mobile phone battery but they aren't available any more for mine, only bought the phone 4 yrs ago, apparently you can get them via the internet as an order but then there's some kind of scam going on there with people 'refurbishing' batteries apparently so forget it, cheaper to buy another phone. i just want a cheap phone for breakdown calls.
then called in for a haircut, that felt better
despite the rain i enjoyed the ride, usual incidents of people pulling out without looking but i'm fairly wise to it by now, on the way back i had this nutter on my tail (SUV) so i pulled over for him to overtake and he zoomed off ahead, due to a couple of roadworks traffic lights he didn't get to where i live any quicker than me, i noticed him braking on bends - who does that?

You and Blade have twisted my arm! I have gone for Renthal Soft grip found on ebay for 9quid plus some glue but unsure whether ill actually need glue as didnt need them for the OEM ones
This is what i have gone for
Dont like the grey colour but its not about that for the moment its about testing them.and seeing what they are like. Lookong forward to trying them and Renthal are top brands so will be interesting as never tested any other before. Little worried about tye sizes just assume 120mm is correct lol

Standard size. have you bought proper grip glue? Makes it easy to slide them on as long as the glue is wet.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
It depends on your gloves and your riding style, how much you grip the grips and much you move your hands over the grips. I've had medium grips for over 12,000 miles without signs of wear.

Having seen Kwacky twist the throttle I'm sure you'll get equal distance out of the soft grips, Rossgo!

It was raining when I left but dried on the way.
My bike looks like it's done the Paris Dakar after yesterday's ride. It's covered in sand, grit and mud.

Finally rode it yesterday!! Only a quick bimble into town and back, but still had some fun coming up the hill.
