They work well in the car - i think they work on bikes too, but you have to use certain lanes, i'll check when i get a mo.

Frankie, we're heading off on the Wednesday morning on the Channel Tunnel. Duke and I will ride down on the Tuesday night. Do you want to join us on the night or meet us on the morning?

Are you lads planning on stopping Kastellhof t hooge in ypres as previous euro trips?
I've just checked in the new accomodation block and it's very impressive. Huge apartment kitted out with posh kit and would highly recommend it.
Very impressive and pretty cheap too. 140 euro a night for 2 bed apartment with a lounge/ kitchen the size of most houses. Compare that to Arromanche where it was 200 euro a night for a box room with no breakfast.
Definitely a great stop of location and accomodation wise.

I'm on my holidays. I m having a nice time and not staying in a dump.
That s a fair price imo.
Are you staying here in June. It's very nice and interesting as well with all the ww1 history.

Tuesday 5th June booked at the Woolpack. He gave me a discount and included breakfast. Duke and Frankie are in a twin en suite. I've got my own room.
He wants some of my Street Triple parts so we'll sort it out when we get there.

Slight change of plan. Basel is expensive and we're struggling to find a decent hotel with parking for sensible money.
So instead of Basel we're only going as far as Colmar. That means a short day on the bikes, which is a good thing as we're doing decent miles the day before. It also means we've got time to take the very long way round as there are some superb roads out that way.

Looks like i'm going to have to use some motorways to get across to Metz, otherwise it will take ages. Why is it every single route planner and sat nav reckons different times, different routes etc etc. They even vary by a few hours when i look at the same routes FFS.
