The original was excellent, Cloverfield, it was like a homemade monster movie, think Godzilla meets Blair Witch project, the second 2 have just been trash that dont really relate at all bar the odd monster shoved in for no real reasonD41 wrote:I never new there was an original. It was crap & weird. I didn't watch it all the way through. Banal.

Trailer for new series "Krypton" looks interesting....not my sorta thing, but the superhero-types will go straight into geek-mode over it.

That married at first sight is a strange programme. Clearly these people have got to breaking point in relationships!

Re: What you watching?
Yesterday watched the last episode of Band Of Brothers. No matter what i still ger a lump in the back of my throat when they get to revealing who the veterans are and their personal stories of the war.
They were only kids at the time, now kids are going around mugging, threatening elderly people, playing on their phones, have no respect. And these old guys were out thousands of miles away from their families, GFs, pets, normality for years and taken to a messed up part of the world where death was surrounding them. We will never understand.
We all say we have a hard life but reality of it is weve never had it so easy, whats hard is we get too many options available to us.
Anyway still an amazing series
A lot of respect to our vetrans and current serving soldiers

Re: What you watching?
Yep. It was a very well wrapped up ending the way they finished up at the Kelsteinhaus.
Would've been more "exciting" if they'd stormed into Berlin guns blazing, or some other fictitious nonsense, but the Berchtesgaden episode left me with the "What now?....Home??" feeling I think the actual men there prolly felt. The anti-climax that it was over.

Re: What you watching?
D - well written. I totally agree. Sometimes these programmes can go far too far and in turn kills the feelings. But the writers did the right thing and showed the emotions correctly. Brilliant series couldnt get bord of it in all honestyD41 wrote:Yep. It was a very well wrapped up ending the way they finished up at the Kelsteinhaus.

It's a good action film. It's a little bit preachy but they don't keep going on about it.D41 wrote:Kwacky wrote:Black Panther.
