Re: cheap trackday anyone?
I run a forum down in deepest Devon and each year we rent out a track in Wales called Llandow. It's a small circuit and looks simple but it's a lot of fun.
I run it as a forum day, basically anyone who's registered and introduced themselves, made a few posts etc gets first dibs on places. Then from March 1st is open to anyone as I have to sell the places.
Now I run it like this,
3 groups - novice,inters, fast.
17 riders per group - 1 marshal/instructor + 16 riders.
6x15 minute sessions
Riders names only go down on the list when they have paid their money.
I run this at £65 per head.
Friday June 8th.

Re: cheap trackday anyone?
I'm very interested if you have any places left. Is there any camping facilities at the circuit?

Re: cheap trackday anyone?
The Racefit is at least 115dB. I couldn't hear any volume difference when the exhaust came loose and fell out when on track, only more rasp. There's pretty much no noise inhibitor...
It is the same volume as running straight headers

If there are spaces left can you put me down for the inters. Not sure I want to go in a group with someone called Crash848, plus Bullet and Crotchrocket sound like they be might out of my league!

Stick me down for an inters space. If you could send me payment details I'll send it through

Re: cheap trackday anyone?
i only stick names down of people who have
registered
introduced themselves
paid
that way i don't get left with lots of names and no money when it comes to paying the circuit.
also, what you have to remember is that as this is a small forum day the groups aren't at the same level as a regular track day.
novice is - oh shite it's my first time on track and i'm gonna 50 pence every corner, btw what's an apex?
inters - top end of a regular novice group and into the lower half of inters group
fast - everything that's left, top end of inters group and fast riders.
hope this helps, we also keep an eye out for you sharks and will move you if you start lapping and lapping and lapping
