Milan Bike Show - 9th -11th November 2018

I thought I would get this one in early so people have time to plan and save up for it.

It opens on the 6th November and ends on the 11th. I'm thinking we get out there on the Friday (9th) and meet up for a few beers and some food. Saturday we hit the bike show followed by more food and more beers and then Sunday come home.

Flights to Milan are pretty cheap.

I'll have a look at timings and hotels closer to the date.

I went from Stansted last year as its the cheapest by far. The return flight was £35. If there are a few of us from this area we can share a car down there.

I can get easyjet from Bordeaux to Milan Malpensa so i might be able to come along, I'll try and persuade Mrs C.

Looks like a few options from London airports. I had a look at Brum and East Mids but it's too expensive and not many direct flights

Stansted is usually cheapest for Milan. Think I paid £35 last year.

Train runs direct from airport terminal into centre of Milan. I think that was about 5 euros.

£50 return can't be sniffed at.

For hotels are we going for Milan or near to the exhibition centre? I would prefer to be in Milan but I'll go with the flow.

Milan centre is better. There is not much around the exhibition centre.

Close to the Duomo is good. There is also a canal area with nightlife.

Again you can get on the metro and be at the exhibition centre in a short time from Milan centre.

Checked flights and some good options from Manchester.
