I need to book a hotel room. Best do that in the next day or two, it's not long now.

Where are you thinking of staying?
I need to book the room for the night before too, breaks up the journey.
Who else is coming?

Just realised the phone missed some of that post.. It should have read:
Work hard.. Would be good to catch up..
I think a couple of gin's may have made me press the wrong button...

Re: Isle of Man - 8th to 10th September
I just called to book a room. I've got a single upstairs with a shared bathroom.
All she's got left is a 3 bedroom family room with a bathroom and sea view at the front. Thats £36 per person per night inc breakfast.

If you don't want to share a room there's the Waldick next door, which we've stayed in before

I will make a final decision at the end of next week. I just need some promised money to come in.

I've booked into the waldick.. Or at least, I've tried.. The online booking system requires you make an deposit via internet banking within the hour, unfortunately HSBC won't let me do that as the system has stopped for the day.Kwacky wrote:If you don't want to share a room there's the Waldick next door, which we've stayed in before

You've got to love technological advances that allow you to do things 24/7, except when the ancient rules and regulations won't let it happen !!

I couldn't book any of the hotels at a reasonable price so booked an airbnb just off the seafront. I can park the bike with yours as its literally two minutes walk from the hotels.

The 853 still needs some work for a trip like this. Its great when on song but a pig in traffic. Proper race engine which is good and bad in equal measure.
