It's the kids TV channels and Netflix. We've got the latter anyway and the kids rarely watch TV these days. If the kids moan I'll threaten to pull the internet. That'll silence 'em

Hold on, they're trying to feck me over here. They're trying to add £19 a month I've not agreed to.

Back to work. Just the 65 emails waiting for me, which is far fewer than expected.

Well the plan changed again. The guy due out to go into this spot broke his leg 2 days ago, so another week on night shift, possibly 2 more weeks. I just hope I get to go onto days for my last week so I'm not so wiped out when I go home!kiwikrasher wrote:Night shift... was supposed to be on days but someone has gone sick, so I'm filling in his position for a week, then swap back to days for the remaining 3 weeks.. unless the plan changes again. Normally stay up late in Darwin if I'm coming onto nights so I can get some sleep through the day once I get offshore, but thinking I was on days I got a good nights sleep, so struggled to get any today so tonight is going to be a chore.

Went into Wolverhampton today to do this...

All was going well during our 6 mile trudge around the city until I heard my opinionated 11 year old daughter utter the words...
"There are more than two genders."
I was pretty much like...

Studying, my head feels like its going to explode! I am losing the will to live with this financial law stuff, problem I'm having at the moment is that my firm is so strict on it all they go above and beyond, so I'm finding myself putting down the answer my firm would use which is different to what is legally required.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I had to do a complaints learning module yesterday and our firm takes the same approach.
Basically, their approach is everything is a complaint and you report everything even if you're not sure it's a complaint.

Spent today wondering round some national trust gardens. Then took the kids to the swimming pool for an hour or so.
Now it's very, very quiet in the cottage...

I'm off for a pub lunch, trying to keep on top of this pain (acupuncture and laser treatment made a massive difference last night!) and trying to keep myself calm about moving out tomorrow - not really working haha
