Up to 321kms now. Bike is starting to loosen up a little and i'm not riding it so carefully.
I switched into Road mode today (i used rain mode for the the first couple of hundred kms) and it now shakes its head out of corners and i've discovered what traction control feels like.
It's perfect for these roads, although it constantly goads you to get on with it.
I'll be happier when i can rev it higher into corners but it pulls out of them very well.
The familiar triple whistle has appeared and the induction noise is getting louder too i reckon.
Its ace.

Been out for another zip about this afternoon.
Now at 414km's so halfway run in
You start to notice little things once you've got comfy on a bike.
A couple of negatives presently are the back brake which isn't strong - maybe needs bleeding or i need to use it more. The indicator and mode switches are too close together and the indicator stalk not positive enough. You can't tell if you've put the indicator on sometimes and have to check. Small issues but i'll have to look at the brake at some stage.
I'm out of rain mode and in road mode now - much better and i'm being a little more aggressive with it (as she makes me do it!). The induction noise is great on downshifts and it is getting louder.
I've got how to change mode and they all change the character of the bike. A brief spell in Sport mode shows that only too well. I've also set it up so the higher modes make the dash layout change too so it's easy to see what mode your in and i've removed a load of stuff from the dash i don't need to see.
On a circular route i've worked out i have towns, twisties and fast carriageways, peppered with islands. It's fantastic on all of them and i found myself really enjoying overtaking all the idiot motorhomes and cagers queuing behind them on the straight lines as well as the curves. It does roar when you flick it down a cog and open it up (still trying to keep the revs down with a peak occasionally).
My biggest issue now is me - i need to adapt my riding style and rev more - i can't yet as it's still running in, but i'm looking forward to flicking down the gears into corners and using the slipper clutch - you can tell she wants to rev.
The other surprise for me is the lack of wind blast. I've never had a naked bike and frankly it feels no different up to 100mph.
The nasty reflectors on the forks have been taken off and i've wired a usb cable to the headstock for the GPS.
She is a naughty girl and with a good rider on board (not me) she would be hard to catch on pretty much any road i reckon. With Kwacky's analogy in mind - she's a raging nympho.

Long ride to Cognac and back yesterday. Sadly a lot of it was damp or wet roads, but it is interesting to ride a new bike and tyre combo in the wet.
The weather in France has been relatively poor this summer and yesterday was 18 - 20 degrees and damp or sopping wet. It got as low as 15 when raining. No real feel from the tyres, so confirms what others have said about the Rosso Corsa's - great feel when the road is warm, but beyond that - not confidence inspiring.
The bike has now done 711kms so a mere 89kms until it starts to need it's first service and can then be revved harder. My running in philosophy has been to keep it on average around 5-6k with peaks to 8 / 9k and an occasional redline when safety demands it. The engine is constantly loosening up and induction noise is now getting much better.
The bike is proper filthy now as it got soaked. We had a nice ride, but we've had a lot better. I'm not used to traction control so haven't really felt it (should i?) and it stayed firmly in Rain mode yesterday and we did around 230kms. Nice coffee in the centre of Cognac mind.
I did notice more the bike is a naked yesterday as you do get noticeably wetter when you can't hide behind a screen!
I've got my bar ends and frame protectors hopefully coming today(ish) so a wash and fit of those along with the bar end mirrors should complete the look for now.
I also need to adjust the gear shift to suit my boots a little more and the brake lever adjustment could do with a little more for my fingers, but that will involve new levers at some stage.
The dealer is away on hols for another week, but says it can be used up to 1200kms before a service if necessary, so i shall continue to put on the km's.

Its in the construction and use regulations i think, i know there is a requirement for part of the 'bodywork' to extend beyond the rear tyre. So we get that in the form of an easily replaceable number plate hanger.

It's been tough, but i coped

I've had it in Sport mode on a ride this afternoon OMFG.

It's not a mode button, but a mood button. Mushy, Safe, Smiley and Knob modes. I wish you could rename them.
Sport allows the front end to bounce along the tarmac while the traction control tells it off for being naughty and flashes the light on the dash - ace

New mirrors are much better than i expected - must be the mirror is a little concave (convex?) but vision is good. I hadn't set the right mirror correctly so had to move about a bit, but I've sorted that now.
I'll get it serviced early next week. Then i'm checking out hyperspace

930kms now. Dealer is not back off hols until Tuesday for a service but said it'll be fine until 1200kms worst case, so i've carried on going 
Refitted the mirrors now i'm happy with them (one was very stiff) and moved the gear change lever slightly further up to accommodate my big feet.
I've also upped the rev limit indicator and it now lives in sport mode mainly.
I'm so in love with this bike.
